Youth

Unity's 5 Basic Principles - Children's Version:

1. God is all good and active in everything, everywhere.

2. I am naturally good because God's Divinity is in me and in everyone.

3. I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I feel and believe.

4. Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.

5. I do and give my best by living the Truth I know. I make a difference!

Youth Programs run concurrently with regular service at 9:00 am on Sundays. Our Youth Department is divided into several sections. Each is for a specific age group:

Unitots

We have supervision for nursery and pre-school aged children.

Unikids

Unikids is the program for grade school children. Lead by a teacher, the program explores Unity in a way young children understand.

Uniteens

Uniteens is our program for middle school youth. Uniteens are guided through a curriculum designed for their age group.

Youth of Unity

Y.O.U. is our program for high school youth. It is tailored to the age group. Each year, the Y.O.U. participate in many events, including Fall Rally and Official Rally in the Spring. Several service rallies are also held during the year. Each Sunday, the Y.O.U. explore a topic while the adult services are held. These topics are usually coordinated with the adult service, and Y.O.U. members are encouraged to discuss the topic with their parents after church.

Janet Robinson, Director of Youth Education

Our youth programs provide a safe and welcoming environment for our young people.

Our youth program offers support and training for our teachers and youth sponsors.

The safety of every child is important to us. Janet makes sure that each volunteer who works with our children has passed a background check.
