Service Is…Love In Action!

One of the best ways to feel connected to a church is to become involved. Each of us is a unique combination of talents essential to the unfolding of the Divine Plan, so there are many ways to serve here at Unity Way Church.

Service is encouraged according to individual interests and talents; we think of our role as ministry. There is a place for everyone. Our motto is “Many hands make light work”, as every little bit helps to keep our church GOING and GROWING in CONSCIOUSNESS and JOY.

Volunteers are the backbone of our church operations throughout the year. They typically serve monthly or bi-monthly as Greeters, Ushers, Techies, Ambassadors, in the Bookstore, to provide Refreshments, and to maintain the Rose Garden. There are also many other ways to help out. These include the lending library, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, purchasing supplies, setting up displays, office help, Sunday morning set-up, flower ministry, photographer, special events, activities and projects, an…and the list goes on! Also, working with our Youth, Music and our other specialty groups and committees are great ways to get involved while helping support our church family.     

Do you have special talents to share? Check out our Volunteer Opportunity Board in Fellowship Hall, or contact a Team Leader or our Volunteer Coordinator, who will be glad to help match you with a position you may enjoy. Training is available for all positions.
